In 2017, we combine our corporate sustainable commitment with the creativity that has always distinguished us, giving rise to the first collection of eco-friendly fabrics E.C.O. KOSMOS (Ecologic, Conversion, Optimisation). This collection is capable of addressing the needs and questions of an increasingly green-oriented market. It is a path based on values, innovation, and determination, offering a collection of fabrics ideal for every sector. A laborious and constantly updated journey, the transformations and enrichments that distinguish us, the vast experience of the team, and thanks to a precise method of analysis and research, lead us to have 142 fabrics certified according to international certification schemes: GRS, RCS, GOTS, OCS, ST ANDARD 100 by OEKOTEX®, BCI, F SC®.

RECYCLED

Fabrics created from pre-consumer and post-consumer recycled materials: wool, polyester, polyamide, cotton, polyurethanes, leather, every material with yarns of natural and recycled origin, presenting a cutting-edge appearance. Discover our Green Innovation, E.C.O. GALAXI, our certified fabric designed and developed to respect the environment, thanks to its recycled glitter and the fabric that constitutes it.

ORGANIC

Fabrics of cotton, silk, linen, wool, hemp, all crafted with organic yarns, make up the various textiles offered in this category.

BIODEGRADABLE

We offer biodegradable products, using the world's best polyamide yarn that degrades in just five years when disposed of in controlled conditions, as demonstrated by laboratory biodegradation tests.

SUSTAINABLE GLITTER

Thanks to the constant study and persistent research of our R&D Department and internal Laboratory, AURIGA was born, our glitter fabric designed to comply with the strictest legal regulations, respecting the environment without losing its Fashion essence. The product is free from microplastics and harmful components and is also designed with the aim of not dispersing glitter dust into the environment. With the same spirit of sustainable innovation, Italian Converter® is working to develop glitter fabrics that are free of microplastics and biocompatible, a green alternative to traditional ones. BIO BASED

In the collection, we offer bio-based coatings made by recovering pre-consumer processing waste, then compacted to give them new life. The sustainable choice, supported by internally conducted studies, involves using a revolutionary polymer based on bio-polyols, sourced from renewable materials.

SOLVENT FREE and DMFA FREE

The fabrics in the collection align with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) requirements, and they are free from harmful solvents. All items in the E.C.O. Kosmos collection are certified, and their internal finishing and bonding process, water-based and other aspects of our DNA, enable the high achievement of certified materials. This certification covers not only the weaving and yarn components but also finished products tailored for the footwear and leather goods industry.

DMFA FREE and TOLUOLO FREE

Italian Converter offers customer-customized coatings that are DMFA FREE and Toluolo FREE and comply with REACH regulations or adhere to even more stringent limits.
